Terms of Service

EDOK is a digital education management platform designed to support education administration, monitoring, communication, learning services and institutional accountability. Features may include role-based dashboards, digital identity, attendance management, academic records, communication tools and related services.

The Platform is intended to complement existing government education systems and does not replace official government institutions or legal administrative processes unless formally authorized.

• Access to certain features is restricted to authorized users, including students, teachers, parents or guardians, institutional staff and education officials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Collect or harvest data from the Platform without authorization.
• Use the Platform in a manner that violates the rights of others or applicable education regulations.

Users and institutions may submit or generate data through the Platform, including academic records, attendance, communications and reports. You retain any rights you already hold in such content, subject to the rights granted to operate the Platform.

By using the Platform, you grant EDOK a limited license to host, process, display and transmit such data as necessary to provide the services and as required for authorized education administration purposes.

Education data may also be subject to government data governance rules and institutional policies.

The Platform, including its software, design, logos, documentation and original content, is owned by or licensed to EDOK and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without prior written permission, except as expressly allowed by these Terms.

The Platform may integrate with or reference other systems, including government systems such as EMIS or IPEMIS. EDOK is not responsible for the availability, accuracy or policies of third-party systems outside its control.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you also acknowledge our Cookie Policy.

We strive to keep the Platform available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice, particularly for maintenance, security or compliance reasons.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EDOK disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EDOK and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages or any loss of data, profits or business opportunities arising from your use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EDOK and its team from any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms or infringement of any rights of another party.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms, if required by law or government authority, or for security or operational reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Bangladesh, unless otherwise required by applicable government rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
